VP, Program Manager, Group Consumer Banking and Big Data Analytics Technology, Technology and Operations

Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

The new hire will own and manage a portfolio of applications in the Consumer Banking Technology space with the following key responsibilities:

  • Serve as liaison between Business Unit and delivery teams
  • Liaise with Business Unit on programs/initiatives - from conceptualization to implementation and continual Provide project management for the delivery of program/initiatives, using either traditional "waterfall", Agile or hybrid methodologies
  • Liaise with vendors for delivery
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to provide solutions, efforts sizing and functional and design specifications for business initiatives
  • Work with relevant units for project reporting and governance
  • Drive contract negotiations, signing and monitoring
  • Create core work products and inspect other work products
  • Track financials and work closely with Business Unit Controllers for financial matters
  • Present program/initiative status to sponsors and Project Steering Committees and relevant Councils as required
  • Ensure the smooth operational rollout of programs/initiatives to customers and handover to operations teams

Technical
  • Bachelors Degree or Master from a recognized University
  • Candidate should possess one or more of the following certifications: PgMP, PMP, CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in managing project implementations for software, hardware and infrastructure. Relevant program/project experience in a banking environment is an added advantage.
  • Previous vendor management experience is necessary.
  • Knowledge of project financials and accounting is necessary.
  • Experience with Agile software delivery (especially as a Product Owner or ScrumMaster) is necessary
  • Strong regulatory, compliance and control knowledge a strong advantage
