Business Function

Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Responsibilities
    Manage and drive roll-out of ALM models implementation, BAU enhancements, and system migration Manage multiple projects/enhancements at once, negotiate timelines and resources with various business partners, and communicate with all levels of organization. Take ownership of deliverables and business outcomes. Lead system testing to support production fixes, system projects and enhancements Gather and review requirements from all relevant stakeholders and translate them into user story and test cases Support ALM risk platform vision and roadmap for prioritization of initiatives . New Product Approval (NPA) - understand business objective and product features to consider implications against ALM risk regulatory rules, internal assumptions and infrastructure capabilities. Support successful product launches and ensure adequate risk capture. Assist in ongoing data maintenance including data checks and timely management of data quality issues and resolution Ensure due documentation of enhancements and project, including comprehensive process and data lineages. Support Group Reporting and Monitoring of ALM (Liquidity & Banking Book) Risk reports/ratios Support regulatory and audit request
Requirements
    University graduate and/or post-graduate with major in Finance / IT or related quantitative disciplines Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in financial institutions, preferably in ALM risk, project management and/or balance sheet management functions Flexible, positive and results-oriented attitude. Works well with changing timelines and priorities and can proactively manage up. Works with a sense of urgency and makes efforts to motivate others towards common goals. Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize complex information, make sound tactical decisions, and communicate such information in a clear, simple way to a variety of audiences including to senior executives Self-starter who identifies areas of opportunity and drives forward efficiencies, processes, and goals forward with cross-functional stakeholders. Technical aptitude: Demonstrated ability to work with comprehensive suite of banking products and technology infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have an existing basic understanding of ALM Risk regulatory requirements.
