Position Overview

Position Overview:

The Vendor Operations Team manage the vendor oversight for the end-to-end processing and settlement of Wealth Management operations with our service provider. The role is important in facilitating communication between the service provider and the Bank in order to foster efficiency and controls. They may also be responsible for operational, project management, building and managing relationships with the front office and other internal and external parties at an appropriate level, in particular around the more time critical, complex or regulated tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the day-to-day service operations with clearly defined processes and internal controls.
  • Govern the risk and operational element within the vendor environment and ensuring adherence to commercial obligations.
  • Provide support and resolve any internal operational issues or problems affecting service delivery.
  • Investigate and Report to the management of any unresolved or escalated issues affecting service vendor's delivery of service.
  • Ensure to track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance via SLA and KPI management
  • First level escalation on operational impacts between the business and the vendor.
  • Mitigate and manage risk elements raising immediately any issues to resolution.
  • Facilitate and ensure commercial adherence to approved change requests to the agreement scope.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external provider to provide a point of contact with the service provider
  • Support project management and additional as and when required.

Manage and provide vendor internal and external administrative support - internal and external feedback, mailbox monitoring, reporting, documentation, access, invoicing, maintaining a calendar of contract activities

  • Actively supports the strategy, plans and values of DB, contributing to the achievement of a high performance culture. Personally contributes in an environment where people development is the number one priority
  • Build relationships across a diverse organization and effectively navigate a highly matrix environment.

. Experience/Exposure:
  • Relevant experience in one or more specific technical areas in banking and finance with experience in wealth management operations and high level understanding of vendor management looked on favorably
  • Excellent hands on working knowledge in private banking operations involving equities, fixed income, FX, MM, OTC, Corporate Actions
  • Analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and local language (written/verbal) where applicable.
  • Excellent team contributive team member, able to work in virtual global teams and a matrix organization
  • Open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
  • Leadership presence and communication skills
  • Ability to successfully address large, challenging relationships
