Become a crucial part of the bank's main Business Intelligence platform and work in their state of the art Data Analytics team.

In this exciting role you will be responsible for the design, development, Testing, which is significant for the business critical platform.

You will be able to design how the data is stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities, users and systems.

One of the key challenges for this position is to plan, design, and optimize the platforms for data throughout and query performance issues.


  • Architect and develop data pipelines to connect various data sources, develop ETL processes and maintain it,
  • Design and develop relational as well as multi-dimensional databases to meet business requirements,
  • Design and develop operation data store (ODS), enterprise data warehouse (EDW) for real time as well periodic reporting,
  • Develop and design streaming services for real time reporting and data movement,
  • Monitor and tune performance of relational as well multidimensional database queries,
  • Assist the BI team with occasional development of analytical dashboards,
  • Develop automated tests and maintain continuous integration environment,
  • Develop and update technical documentation
  • Contribute to the definition of design and development best practices and standards,
  • Work with agile team(s) to quickly prototype and iterate on ideas,

Key Skills:

  • Excellent data modelling skills and experience of working with heterogeneous datasets
  • Experience of Data Vault modelling and design.
  • Advanced T-SQL programming skills (stored procedures, functions, etc.), as well as developing ETL jobs using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, relational, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework,
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience of SQL Server
  • Analysis Services (Multidimensional as well as Tabular), including MDX and DAX
  • Knowledge / experience of DevOps practices, automated CI and release management as well as source control management using TFS and Git,
  • Advanced skills in data engineering and coding with ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy,
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization for SQL Server and SSAS databases
  • Experience with BI tools is preferred, Tableau, Power BI and / or SQL Server Reporting Services or equivalent,
  • Technical expertise of data mining and partition techniques would be an advantage,
  • Understanding of/experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of automation tools, Nbi, Biml or Red Gate equivalent,
  • Good problem solving and testing skills is must,
  • Understanding of data integration best practices, leading industry applications and features such as master data management, entity resolution, data quality assessment, metadata management, etc.
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of financial markets would be an advantage
