Redstone Commodity Search are working with a global commodities brokerage seeking a grain derivatives broker to be based in Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for executing paper swaps and futures trades on behalf of clients for different grains in the Black Sea region (corn, wheat, barley, sorghum, oilseeds, soybean etc.)
  • Communicate trends and changes to clients by monitoring and analysing the Black Sea grain market
  • Create and develop relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Write market updates and market letters on a daily basis as well as regular news summaries
  • Reports into Head of the Grains desk

Key Qualifications / Experience
  • At least 3 years' experience working in a brokering, trading, sales or operations role covering agricultural and/or soft commodities (wheat, barley, corn, sorghum, oilseeds, soybean, fertilizer, etc.)
  • Must be fluent in Russian, fluency in Ukrainian is an advantage
  • Excellent understanding of trade entry and execution with strong knowledge of the Black Sea grains market
  • Degree in business, finance, mathematics, economics or other relevant discipline
  • Located in Switzerland or happy to relocate (Swiss citizenship or work permit is preferred)
