A Business Manager responsible for supporting the VTB Capital Commodities business in Zug and its business operations with VTB Bank, VTB Capital Hong Kong Branch and VTB Bank SE. The role covers the following Business Management and support services: • Strategy & Business Planning (20%) • Control & Governance (25%) • Change Management (25%) • Business Execution (30%) (Approx weightings)

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated support to the relevant heads on a range of business management activities including but not limited to:
    •  The development and delivery of strategy and business planning documents supporting the development and growth of the businesses including but not limited to:
      • Annual business plan
      • Cost Management activities
      • Strategic initiative / project  planning
    • Ensuring that a robust control and governance framework is in place to ensure that internal procedures are satisfied and external regulations are adhered to at all times including but not limited to:
      • Managing the business interaction with Internal Audit and ensuring that agreed audit points are resolved within the agreed timescales
      • Ensure Op Risks are reported and resolved within the agreed timescales
      • Ensure all relevant controls are in place
    • the delivery of tasks and projects to ensure successful business execution across the business operations under the remit of VTB Capital plc 
  • Be responsible for a range of change management to increase the effectiveness of the  businesses including but not limited to:
    • The implementation of a new IT initiatives to increase business efficiencies
    • Process optimization

Key Competencies & Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of problem solving, project delivery and
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a Financial Markets environment (Commodities knowledge and experience is a strong plus) 
  • An understanding of the key asset classes
  • Business Management or project management experience
  • Strong relationship management and project management capabilities
