Your Role

Be a strategic resource supporting the decision-making process and achievement of the financial and strategic plan, and to provide performance reporting and insight to the Global Leadership team.

As a Business Performance Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Perform detailed reviews of financial performance and trends across functions, LOBs, regions and countries to support delivery of strategic targets;
  • Agree on agenda and actions for necessary improvements;

  • Work with relevant leadership teams and bring in topical experts as required to ensure targets are achieved;

  • Drive business initiatives on behalf of Finance, ensuring all opportunities are subject to appropriate review and challenge;

  • Develop an in depth knowledge of relevant segments, act as a subject matter expert for any queries relating to financial performance;

  • Keep abreast of key, relevant industry trends and articulate potential impact on performance relative to competitors;

  • Be a key contributor to insights into financial performance across a broad range of locations and products.

Your Skills and Experience

As a Business Performance Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • CPA or equivalent Accounting or Finance qualification;
  • 10+ years of relevant experience;
  • Broad and substantial insights into P&C and / or Life;
  • Previous experience in IFRS reporting and balance sheet management;
  • Able to apply technical knowledge and experience to both strategic and tactical situations;
  • Prior experience in performing detailed reviews of financial performance and trends;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Fluent in English.
