In this role, you will be a key member of a highly dynamic team, working at the intersection of compliance, investment governance, finance and fund operations across Carbon Removal Partners AG, its international subsidiaries and investment vehicles. You will play a central role in ensuring that critical processes run smoothly, are well coordinated across stakeholders and adequately documented in a regulated environment. At the same time, you will gain broad exposure to the inner workings of a private markets investment platform, including fund operations, investor needs and investment processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance
• Coordinate and maintain regulatory filings, compliance monitoring and control activities
• Own the maintenance and ongoing development of the internal control system (ICS)
• Prepare compliance reports and support regulatory audits
• Maintain structured, complete and audit-ready regulatory documentation
• Drive the continuous improvement of compliance-related processes, controls and documentation standards
2. Fund Operations
• Support the preparation and coordination of investor reporting and investor communications
• Contribute to quarterly reporting, NAV and Capital Account Statement processes as well as capital calls
• Coordinate inputs across internal teams and external providers
• Track deliverables and ensure timely execution of fund-related processes
3. Legal
• Drive contract management and signature processes (e.g. NDAs, agreements)
• Maintain an organized overview of corporate documents, contracts and intercompany arrangements
• Support fund-related legal matters and documentation processes, including investor onboarding, fund documentation and transaction execution
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and service providers on legal and corporate matters
4. Finance
• Support the preparation and coordination of quarterly financial reporting across multiple entities
• Assist in the review and organization of financial data and underlying documentation
• Contribute to budgeting, liquidity monitoring and financial reporting and planning processes
• Support invoice review, expense management and payment processes
5. Investment and Corporate Governance
• Manage the preparation and coordination of Board, Investment Advisory Committee and Valuation Committee meetings
• Coordinate governance-related processes and materials, ensure completeness of investment documentation and draft meeting minutes
• Maintain a clear and auditable record of investment and governance processes
• Drive the continuous improvement of internal processes and documentation standards
Your Profile
• 3-6 years of experience (e.g. Big4, legal firm, asset management, PE/VC, finance roles)
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• High attention to detail and documentation quality
• Structured, reliable and proactive working style
• Ability to manage multiple processes and stakeholders
• Interest in regulatory and governance topics
• Experience in a regulated environment is a strong advantage
• A legal background or prior exposure to legal, compliance or corporate governance matters is a plus
• Fluent in German and English
