YOUR CHALLENGE
  • Responding to all client needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitoring and analysing portfolios and providing proactive investment advices to sophisticated and active clients, based on their requirements and the Julius Baer investment strategy
  • Active role as investment professional. Providing first class advice, asset allocation across all investment asset classes including direct equities, fixed income, hedge funds, derivatives and structured products
  • Following developments in the financial markets to maintain an understanding of investment products as well as current and anticipated trends and how they affect the client portfolios
  • Ensuring consistently high levels of client satisfaction by matching the frequency and intensity of contact to the clients preference
  • Continuously deepening client relationships and optimising revenues through cross-selling
  • Compliant with all standards, policies, guidelines and regulations (Julius Baer specific, financial industry and cross-border)
  • Embracing new processes and product initiatives
  • Participation in ad hoc projects as required by the Team Head

REQUIREMENTS

Professional and Technical
  • Further education in financial markets (university/university of applied science, AZEK, CFA etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge in banking with a proven track record in the Investment Advisory or Portfolio Management
  • Pronounced knowledge in all asset classes in a portfolio context
  • Excellent written and oral skills in German and English; additional languages e.g. French, Italian a plus
  • Sound knowledge of global financial markets and current affairs
  • Client and service oriented personality with excellent selling and presentation skills, efficient and independent working methods, self-assertion and high motivation
  • Ability to communicate complex subjects at different levels and express things simply and directly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attentive listener, communicative and client oriented personality, trustworthiness, discretion and team player
  • High level of drive and energy, making contribution with conviction and confidence
  • Ability to match client needs with appropriate product solutions
  • Sound commercial judgement, represents the Bank's and the shareholders'
    interests at all times
  • Experience in dealing with cross-border situations
