Business Unit Overview:

BlackRock EMEA Finance consists of Finance professionals in disciplines such as Business Finance, Treasury, Tax Regulatory Reporting, Accounting Operations and Corporate Accounting.  This role sits within the Accounts Payable team, as part of a global team based in Gurgaon, Singapore, Atlanta, Belgrade, Edinburgh and Budapest.

Job Purpose/Background:

Reporting to Accounts Payable Vice President; overseeing daily activities of AP Customer Services team, ensuring invoice and payment related queries are handled on a timely basis and acting as a first point of escalation for internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with BlackRock's Global Cash Disbursement Policy and regulatory requirement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Internal and external relationship management
  • Acting as first point of escalation for internal and external business partners on invoice/payment queries
  • Oversee the day to day running of AP Customer Services
  • Proactive and able to use own initiative to aid problem solving
  • Managing same day/urgent payments
  • Acting independently within scope of responsibility
  • Keeping deadlines and aligning with compliance rules
  • Participate in ad hoc projects

Knowledge/Experience:
  • Degree in economics/finance
  • 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience is required
  • 1-2 years of people management experience is required
  • Knowledge of Oracle/Coupa is a plus
