In Credit Operations, we play an important role in achieving our vision by proactively working with customers who are experiencing financial difficulty, building relationships to help them clear arrears, and developing manageable payment solutions tailored to their circumstances and affordability. Our teams have over 330,000 customer interactions every month from customers in financial difficulties who need our help, with £19 billion balances under our management. And our role in the Strategy and Performance team, is to support the Collections and Recoveries teams by ensuring our customer strategy is the best fit for our customers and for our business.
We now have an opportunity for an experienced Analyst to join the Strategy and Performance team. Everything our team does is driven by customer data, to give us the insight we need to make the right decisions for our customers. In this role you'll work with a mixture of our products, including Current Accounts, Personal Loans and Credit Cards and support the Senior Leadership Team with value-adding analysis that provides insight into operational performance and customer outcomes. You'll also act as a role model to the more junior colleagues in the team who may require your analytical or technical support, and you'll lead ad-hoc work requests where analytical resource is needed to support innovative change and development within the business, or in answer to requests received from our regulators.
In terms of your background, we'll be looking for you to have proven experience working in an analytical environment using advanced coding languages (SAS is preferred), as well as interrogating multiple data sources to provide value-adding analysis. Strong and clear communication is essential as you'll present findings and recommendations to the Senior Leadership team, as well as demonstrating strong attention to detail. You'll also need to be comfortable using Microsoft Office - especially Excel and PowerPoint.
