Financial Accountant role for a prestigious business based in Bristol, due to growth. Ideal role for a qualified accountant with an audit background and strong technical skills.
Morgan McKinley are partnering with a well-renowned Bristol based business, who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role is responsible for the day to day financial accounting, including statutory accounts, financial budget and reporting.
Key responsibilities for this role;
- Lead the day to day financial accounting; statutory accounting, quarterly management accounts, annual financial budget, monthly forecasts, VAT returns, monthly reconciliations
- Support group consolidation
- Review overhead costs and manage the recharge of intercompany costs
- Mentor and support the junior members of the team
- Support the Group Financial Controller with ad-hoc project work, where needed
To be successful in your application for this role it is beneficial to have/be;
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Strong audit and technical accounting background
- Be commercially astute and have excellent communication skills
- Exceptional analytical and excel skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple activities and stakeholders
