We are currently seeking a talented Aptitude Accounting Hub (AAH) Software Engineer with experience of developing within the AAH application for the Finance Value Stream. In this role you will need to use extensive knowledge and skills to develop solutions aligned to one or more platform areas including Oracle Fusion, SAP ECC and the Aptitude Accounting Hub providing guidance and direction within the Financial Accounting Tower. By working independently or collaboratively relative to size, significance, scope and scale, this Software Engineer will make recommendations and co-ordinate/oversee an efficient and effective delivery of software solutions to meet business goals.

1.Uses extensive understanding of the key stakeholders to deliver results (e.g. business, 3rd party supplier) and within Group IT.
2.Uses extensive understanding of LBG standards(both technical standards such as code control, and industry compliance).
3.Uses extensive knowledge to continuously improve and advocate best practices and knowledge sharing activities.
4Review platform deliverables in scope to support change within agreed timescale
5.Review cross-application documentation(including traceability) created by others.
6 To own ones development plan and seek opportunities to continuously improve. Uses his/her expert knowledge to over see the coaching and mentoring process.
7.Uses extensive knowledge to support the assessment of requirements and their impact on supporting / downstream applications. Once assessed provide appropriate guidance and direction to define options and make recommendations.
8.Uses extensive understanding of the Quality Assurance function and provides joined up approach to development and testing of solutions.
9.Uses extensive understanding of the engagement process for third parties, offshore and outsourcing partners and enables teams to work with the partners in a highly effective way.
10.Uses extensive understanding of the alignment of the platform to support Business and Group IT strategies.
11.To perform own work in accordance with the values and behaviours and risk parameters of the Group
12.Takes responsibility for executing the CBP accountabilities; developing, maintaining and continuously improving end to end compliance for critical business processes and applications owned by the platform. This will be achieved through a thorough understanding of the upstream/downstream systems and engaging with colleagues across IT and the business.
- Extensive experience of Release Management
- Knowledge of Aptitude Accounting Hub, DRM & Oracle Fusion technologies beneficial
- Working with Cloud and integration with On-Premise applications
- Working with Financial ERP systems would be advantageous
- Automated release and build process preferably using Jenkins.
- Configuration and deployment management tools
- Experience of complete Development Lifecycle, Release Engineering, Dev Ops and Configuration management.
