Right now we’re looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to join our Finance Systems team based in Coventry. Here you’ll be tasked with designing, building and implementing the Oracle BI Dashboards and automated reporting in order to support the wider Finance teams. You’ll also be responsible for administering other core database applications such as ICE Planning Tool and Finance Data Hub. 

As a key member of the Finance Systems team, not only will you support and promote best practice you’ll also use your problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement in planning and reporting methods and techniques to support the diverse needs of users.

With demanding deadlines for planning and reporting, it is fair to say that you will be challenged at times. However, this role will allow you to develop a broad range of knowledge about our business, and put you in a strong position to develop your career further with us.

Qualifications

What we need from you:

  • Advanced knowledge and usage of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE 11g) & Excel (including VBA).
  • Experience of stakeholder management at a senior level.
  • A customer oriented attitude and empathy for identifying the actual needs of a stakeholder and translating them to a solution.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel as required.

It would be great if you had:

  • A financial qualification or experience of working with financial data.
  • Experience of working with planning, forecasting and reporting systems.
  • Knowledge and usage of ICE Planning Tool / SAP FICO (Financials and Controlling) / SQL (Structured Query Language).
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
