Technical Business Analyst, Vice President:

The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).
CT teams are aligned with corporate partners' evolving technology needs and the firm's ever expanding technology controls agenda.
A top CT priority is building scalable corporate systems. Teams focus on:

  • Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firm's regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitments
  • Advancing the firm's Roadmap programs -- Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Platforms
  • Adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions
  • Driving innovation across the firm's corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation, and Agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles
  • Investing in security & controls for cyber, access/entitlements uplift, data protection and application resiliency

Role Description:
The Project Manager / Business Analyst role will:
  • Be accountable for execution & tracking of program deliverables for Technology across Lines of Business, Functional Areas and cross-functional teams
  • Work with business and dependent technology teams to analyze cross-LOB AML/KYC implementation requirements
  • Understand, produce and manage the requirements and the tasks that are to be delivered
  • Analysis and documentation of both functional and non-functional business requirements
  • Prepare & review program dashboard, performance metrics, scorecards including weekly & monthly program status updates, Executive Sponsor Updates, key business metrics, Issues & Risks and periodic program updates & communication decks
    Manage and monitor backlog analysis and management, work stream planning and delivery of project plans & end-to-end timelines
  • Interact with business product owners in understanding and helping to groom requirements backlog
Responsibilities for this role will also include:
  • Establishing strong partnership with the Agile team, work stream leads, business partners, and product owners
  • Preventing, minimizing, diagnosing and remedying delivery risks and issues
  • Collect, track, and report program progress
  • Preparing ad hoc internal reports on program activity, timeline and plans for Senior level and Executive Management Team
A successful candidate brings the following skills to the table:

Proven track record of successfully executing delivery management fundamentals for technology implementation efforts (meeting / JAD facilitation, workplans, status reports, RAID logs, metrics reporting, budget reporting, etc.)
  • Analytical thinker with strong analysis skills, strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • "Can do" attitude; "go-getter" that pursues responsibilities without constant prompting
  • Experience and aptitude with technology development roles outside of project management specialization (e.g., process design, business analysis, test scripting, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of technology and technical solutions
  • Experience on Requirements gathering and development of Functional and non-Functional Specifications
Education:
Computer Science Degree or equivalent
