Your role
This role will provide you with the opportunity to; advise clients on how to restructure their corporate groups, manage a team in implementing corporate simplification projects, and manage client relationships.

You will broaden your experience by working across industry groups and enjoy opportunities to progress your career as part of a fast-growing team which has strong relationships and networks across industries including retail, financial services, energy, and property.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of bespoke advisory reports, including balance sheet simplification and options analysis
  • Managing the implementation of corporate simplification projects including client relationship management and review of necessary documentation to effect and progress solvent liquidations (MVL's)
  • Utilising and managing a pool of associates and assistant managers
  • Upskilling and investing in junior staff members in order to encourage them to develop.
  • Participating in business development initiatives, supported by the senior management team, in order to continue growing the business
  • Monitoring compliance matters on all implementation engagements
  • Responsibility for managing a caseload, including billing and cash management
  • Delivery of assignments may include global projects involving some travel
  • Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution

Location: Manchester/Leeds or alternative regional office, with frequent domestic and international travel

Your professional experience
Essential:
  • Strong finance skills (preferably ACA/ACCA/JIEB qualified)
  • A strong academic track record including good A-level (or equivalent) results
  • Experience in; financial or operational restructuring, insolvency, advisory work
  • Good organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • A logical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • A self-starter attitude with an inquisitive mind
