As a leading investment bank in China and Hong Kong region, the investment banking arm of Bank of China, BOC International Holdings Limited (“BOCI”), is now seeking highly motivated, creative and success-oriented professional who would like to pursue the career for supporting our capital market business.

Covering two entities to assist the Financial Controller with


  • Produce timely financial report and group consolidation reports;
  • Produce timely management report;
  • Produce Ad hoc reports to HO;
  • Produce and submit FCA returns;
  • Reconcile monthly payment and yearly returns on NI and PAYE to HMRC;
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns to HMRC;
  • Prepare and submit yearly P11D, PSA tax payments and returns to HMRC

Payment and Accounting

  • Handle and control of account payable and receivable;
  • Handle and control of business and office expenses;
  • Handle and control of staff expense and cash reimbursement;
  • Control and monitor of petty cash;
  • Control and monitor of cash flow to meet present and future obligations;
  • Handle and control of fixed assets accounting and reconciliation;
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts;
  • Input and post daily account entries in the Flex accounting system

Intercompany invoicing and accounting

  • Accounting for intercompany management fee income and business expenses;
  • Production of monthly invoice to the companies with supporting documents;
  • Monitor the payment received;
  • Reconcile the expenses from inter-company for payment;
  • Elimination of intercom balance in consolidation accounting

UKIS Commission /Fee/Rebate

  • Issuance of invoice and monitor CSA fees;
  • Reconcile commission income and expenses between operation system (Nova) and accounting system (Flex);
  • Maintain and update UKIS local web system for revenue management report;
  • Monthly reconciliation of revenue among HK/UK/US


  • Interpret the expenses policy to UK staff;
  • Provide information and assist the internal/external auditors in their work


  • ACCA or Accountancy Degree holder with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in the financial services industry
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills using English and ideally also Mandarin and/or Cantonese
  • Meticulous and independent
  • Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines and expectations
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Access and Word)
