The position is in within the Accounts Payable Department responsible for the accurate processing, verification, reconciliation and settlement of Invoices, Intercompany Payment Requests and Employee Expense Claims

Job Purpose

The position is in within the Accounts Payable Department responsible for the accurate processing, verification, reconciliation and settlement of Invoices, Intercompany Payment Requests and Employee Expense Claims.



Keys responsibilities:

  • Review and processing of all employee expense claims submitted via Concur Expense, involves the verification of all receipts, exchange rates & compliance with ICBC Standard Bank policies & HMRC guidelines
  • Prepare & perform payment controls, including payments by BACS & Swift to our Third Party Suppliers
  • Review & processing of GBP and currency invoices, including bulk uploads for major suppliers resulting in prompt & accurate payment
  • Liaise with Suppliers' Credit Controllers to resolve discrepancies & be an available central point of contact to ICBC Standard Bank administrators

Experience required to successfully perform the role:

  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes
  • Experience with SAP is highly desirable
  • Experience with Concur Expense
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with sensitive information
