The position of Business Development and Relatoinship Director will be responsible for the winning of new client relationships in the private credit, CLO and securitised credit space, specifically with fund managers, asset managers, banks and other similar type entities operating in or from the region of EMEA. Responsible for driving growth across EMEA, with a particular focus on the UK. This role will be part of an exciting growth plan of the Loan Agency business of this firm, which has an extremely good brand in the market.
Win new relationships to the firm, and develop these
Develop a strong pipeline of profitable opportunities that align to our target client market sets through adopting a proactive and structured approach to client engagement
Working in collaboration with the global head, other member of the sales team and the Country Heads and Heads of Product to ensure sales target are achieved
Set, implement and drive a coordinated plan to work alongside key Intermediaries (partners) to build quality pipeline through creating and driving value in both directions
Collaborates with other divisional counterparties to identify and follow up on cross selling opportunities in order to meet cross divisional sales targets
Monitors market developments and competitive positioning
Proven track record in sales and relationship management in the loan agency space
Experience in private credit, CLOs and securitised loans ideally.
Established relationships across european fund managers, banks and lenders
Past experience important, having acted in the capacity as a trusted “advisor” typically in: Fund Administration, Law, Accountancy, Banking and Advisory
Proven track record of building long term relationship and driving sales
