Your concurrency skills should be like Bruce Lee in Fists of fury, working on a low latency high throughput system to monitor transactions and risk exposure in hedge funds. The Role:
This stealth start-up has the best java developers in London. Hands down. Hiring four top tier java developers, their job will be to solve some of the most difficult performance, and big data analytics questions in tech this decade.
You will be tasked with working on their truly revolutionary product, solving engineering problems, and delivering business functionality, Developers will participate in the design and implementation with real input into business offerings. Your work will have a visible impact and help shape the future of the product. This is a unique opportunity which will allow you to play a part in shaping the future of finance. You will be a TDD dojo master, a JUnit blackbelt and know DI's like a fist through wood. Requirements:
*Server side multi-threaded Java
*JUnit and TDD
*Spring / other DI framework
*Strong communication skills: able to explain concepts to non-developers as well as peers
*Hadoop and Redis
*Avro / other serialisation framework
*HTML5, JSF and jQuery
*Git, Maven, Puppet, Selenium
*Demonstrable involvement in the Java community
