Change Management Role

Key responsibilities:
  • Working with stakeholders in ensuring the required level of research and analysis is completed to accurately define the solution benefits and risks
  • Employing structured analysis techniques such as Use Cases, UML, decision tables to ensure completeness, clarity and non-ambiguity of requirements
  • Proactive identification and resolution of requirements conflicts
  • Understanding the impact on business & recommending solutions
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in the business architecture
  • Verifying requirements and their scope and priorities with stakeholders
  • Managing requirements change and maintaining requirements traceability
  • Working with technical teams to validate proposed solutions
  • Effectively presenting the information needed to facilitate a decision to move forward with the proposed solution
  • Test preparation and execution
  • Data analysis and presentation using Excel & PowerPoint
  • Working with technical teams, business users and support teams to identify transition requirements for the implementation phase of projects
  • Develop a sound understanding of the firm's policies, systems and processes
Skills / experience required:
  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst in a regulatory change project (ideally Brexit)
  • Analytical mind set with ability to define target operating models
  • Proven experience of end to end delivery including scoping, design, setting up project framework, rule interpretation, requirements gathering, implementation, testing & closure
  • Ability to consume diverse information sets & produce succinct presentations
  • Good understanding of Exchange Traded & OTC Derivatives (knowledge of clearing workflows a plus)
  • Prior experience of regulatory applications is preferred (Not essential)
  • General business analysis and problem solving skills
  • Solid knowledge of brokerage and/or investment banking processes - front to back
  • Experience of dealing with senior management
  • Experience in achieving results in a project context using resources that do not report directly to you (e.g. from clients, from other departments, external suppliers)
  • You will have worked with technology groups and on IT implementations
  • RUP/UML, ISEB, IIBA or IREB qualifications in Business Analysis e.g. ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis, CBAP, Six Sigma/Lean/DFSS
  • Dealing with vendors and proofs of concept solutions
  • Track record working on major projects especially projects delivered in an investment bank or similar institution
