Plan and deliver analysis tasks and documentation for one or more component of the Books Hierarchy and Trade Readiness Programme. With a particular focus on implementing the booking model required for to execute transactions in Europe through the delivery of Infrastructure.

Overall purpose of role

Plan and deliver analysis tasks and documentation for one or more component of the Books Hierarchy and Trade Readiness Programme. With a particular focus on implementing the booking model required for to execute transactions in Europe through the delivery of Infrastructure.

Key Accountabilities

  • Working with Front Office, Operations, Finance, Technology and the wider Programme to deliver effective validation of trading capability.
  • Recognise challenges and risks to execution and escalate effectively to the team lead.
  • Challenge SMEs to ensure trade designs are addressing use case requirements
  • Work with Technology and other teams to establish and resolve the root cause of failures.
  • Recognise changes within sphere of control which are liable to impact other systems / work streams and communicate effectively.
  • Promote the team work ethic, dynamic and attitude through effective collaboration.

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

  • Facilitates cooperation and work collaboratively across Operations, Finance and Technology.
  • Typically faces off to VP / D level stakeholders.
  • Escalate all issues/ concerns to the Pilot Lead and stakeholders on time.
  • Build effective working relationships with all stakeholders.

  • Ability to conduct workshops across group to resolve issues and deliver critical key milestones.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of end to end transaction lifecycle through booking, settlement, clearing and general ledger activities.
  • Strong industry and function knowledge.
  • Experience of the Software development lifecycle, the roles and responsibilities on large projects and the motivations of the actors involved.
  • Experience of working in multiple large scale change programmes.
  • Extensive experience of working with a range of project Methodologies and proven track record of executing within the organisations project preferred methodology.
  • Experience of stakeholder management
  • Experience and knowledge to guide and inform IT to ensure all aspects of requirements are considered in Technical Design.
