We have identified a unique opportunity to deliver enormous value to the Buy-Side based on our core competencies and potential to extend our existing solutions. In order to realize that value, we seek a professional sales person who has a successful track record in selling new ideas, software and data. Our solutions cover Trader and PM workflow and support Content, Risk and Compliance functions at Buy-Side institutions. This person will be a VP of Sales, and will report to the Buy-Side Sales manager.

In order to realize that value, we seek a professional sales person who has a successful track record in selling new ideas, software and data.  Our solutions cover Trader and Portfolio Manager workflow and support Content, Risk and Compliance functions at Buy-Side institutions. This person will be a VP of Sales, and will report to the Buy-Side Sales manager.

 

What you’ll work on:

  • Prospect and build relationships and cover all sales opportunities.
  • Develop, maintain and expand relationship with existing client base.
  • Organize and run presentations and demos.
  • Create proposals and presentations to prospective clients and partners that articulate Ipreo’s buy-side value proposition.
  • Collaborate with other groups within Ipreo to implement strategies to address business opportunities.
  • Work with a global team, keeping relevant stakeholders informed of both progress and setbacks as needed.
  • Build and effectively manage a pipeline that ensures quota achievement.

What we look for:

  • Minimum of five years relevant experience
  • Positive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to understand and overcome concerns or objections
  • Successful experience selling software and/or platforms to PMs and Traders at Buy-side firms.
  • Detail oriented approach to the full sales cycle.
  • Strong knowledge of the buy-side including the structures, workflows and tools generally employed in the investment process
  • Been involved in a new company or product launch
  • The ability to understand product vision and roadmap and appropriately explain and promote this to prospects.
  • Current connections with key buy-side decision makers in trading or portfolio management
  • Specific experience within Fixed Income.
  • Direct exposure to a sell-side or buy-side trading environment, a plus
