Our client is a prestigious private wealth firm based in the West End.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Running the London Risk Committee (LRC) which regularly reviews of all the risks inherent in the activities of the London entities, including compliance / regulatory risks
  • Generating the monthly London Red Flag Cockpit for the LRC
  • Membership of the London ALCO committee
  • Responsibility for London (traditional) private banking risk management assessment / performance analysis and reporting (covering discretionary and advisory mandates) in close cooperation and with the help of Group Risk
  • Responsibility for London Investment Management and UK Institutional Sales’ risk management framework / performance analysis and risk reporting in close cooperation and with the help of Group Risk Geneva and Group Asset Management
  • In charge of the business’ overall London operational risk assessment / risk mapping / key risk indicators and reporting in close coordination with Co-Heads of Group operational risk
  • Supervising the business activities’ inherent risks (market risk, credit risk and operational risk) while the direct responsibility is under Group Risk Management Geneva
  • Supervising London ALM risk / liquidity risk analysis and reporting while the direct responsibility is under Group Risk Management
  • Ensuring with local Compliance Officer and Group Risk Management of strict adherence at all times to regulatory and supervisory requirements
  • Active involvement in London reputational risk assessment and reporting, in coordination with local Compliance Officer and Group Risk Geneva
  • Active involvement in strategic risk management of London (e.g. pro-active assistance to COO London in terms of overall management and projects)
  • Risk management advice on specific transactions

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Qualified FRM with relevant banking/asset management experience and preferably 5 years PQE
  • Fully proficient IT skills and associated ability to recognise opportunities to improve work flows
  • Experience with ICAAP/ILAA and other UK regulatory requirements
