Team Profile:
We are looking for a strong C# .NET/WPF developer with recent experience in WPF and latest .Net technologies to work in the Listed Sales and Trading team.

Listed Sales and Trading is a growing front-office IT team, building proprietary global sales and trading applications. Our applications are multi-asset class, focusing on Equities, Listed Derivatives, Fixed Income and Commodities. We work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Role Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer who can quickly get accustomed to our frameworks. You should be interested in learning more about the business, and proactive in learning about the overall application outside their direct responsibilities. Recent experience with performance analysis and performance tuning would be useful. Experience with C# 6.0 and LINQ, SOAP, XML and messaging a plus. The role involves C# .NET/WPF development, along with some L3 support.

We work in a collaborative, global team environment, so communication and teamwork is very important. We need someone who can share ideas and express themselves well.
We are also looking at converting and integrating with HTML5 based technology, so some exposure to those would be beneficial.


Required Skills:

  • Strong C# programming knowledge and understanding of the .Net framework
  • Good WPF knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Good UNIX / Linux skills, the majority of the system runs on Linux
  • Exposure to HTML5

Desired Skills:
  • Scripting (Perl, Shell, etc.)
  • Database (SQL, DB design, etc.)
  • Q code knowledge on KDB
  • Equity trading application experience (especially the FIX protocol)
  • Basic understanding of equity markets and derivatives
