Job Description
Overall responsibilities:
Responsible for pricing, structuring, evaluating and managing risks for (i) GMC EMEA Crude Options Trading book and (ii) GMC Bespoke Trading book (iii) Base and Precious Options book.
The client base includes: Commodity investors / producers/ consumers
Products include: Commodity derivatives and commodity index derivatives
Back up to other Non-Linear desks.
Main responsibilities:
  • Pricing for customers and sales teams
  • Daily flash P&L
  • Daily P&L sign off for report produced by SDR
  • Daily Risk and P&L reports
  • Client contributions data on transactions undertaken
  • Economic and financial data likely to affect the trading book

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
Key skills/ experience:
  • Working practice in a commodities trading role
  • Exposure and pricing experience in a broad set of commodities underlying (precious & base metals, bulk commodities & Energy)
  • Client business facilitation focus
  • Knowledge of usual trading media (brokers, inter-mediation platforms, etc...) and compliance procedures
  • Ability to sponsor Front Office Tools development
Personal attributes:
  • Extremely rigorous and reliable, especially on deals pricing and book risk management and PnL production
  • Good resistance to stress and pressure Fluid, clear and efficient communicator
  • Team player
  • Fluency in English
