Description of the Business Line or Department -

The Commercial department is responsible for implementation and the development of the business. We achieve this though intelligent planning, reliable operations and creating productive relationships with the Private Banking team/s.
Due to the variety of different roles within the Commercial team from Marketing, communications, KYC and Project management. The Commercial team is able to facilitate supporting the Bankers, the Investment team and Wealth Planning when providing a service to our clients.

Summary of the key purposes of the role

The primary purpose of the role is to support the Head of Private Banking, Commercial management, Business Development and Communications to identify growth opportunities, build innovative strategies and support the wider teams in delivering client satisfaction and brand awareness. This role is also there to act as an SME on financial technology and evolving industry trends particularly when assessing impacts or risks the business will face. As well as teams on best practices in digital marketing with industry benchmarking and supporting frameworks to create value for the business.

Key responsibilities are to: define digital strategy with ExCo, develop and help commercial to deliver on the KH value proposition, act as business representative for innovation. Continuing to disrupt traditional thinking and translate innovation and digital transformation objectives into tangible results for the business internally and externally, leading projects through end to end agile lifecycle

Summary of responsibilities

- Identify innovation opportunities for Kleinwort Hambros, through both an internal challenge of current process and technology as well as working with external third parties
- Keep up to date with latest trends in the market place, and competitors, especially FinTech, in order to understand the impact of disruptive companies on the private banking industry
- Work with FNZ and WDX to ensure that they deliver commercial value to the business and we are keeping up to date by utilising their full capabilities
- Translate innovation objectives, complex problems and new technologies into solutions our clients want and need

- Represent Kleinwort Hambros at both internal and external forums and events increasing brand awareness of KH
- Facilitate communication and clear messaging across all innovation stakeholders

- Develop innovation opportunities into tangible business cases that solve current problems within KH
- Work with ExCo and senior management to define what is meant by the Kleinwort Hambros ‘digital strategy'
- Provide a channel between the group and KH regarding Digital Transformation roadmap
- Develop and help commercial deliver on the KH Value Proposition
- Act as a commercial business lead in order to deliver on innovation within KH
- Lead projects through the end to end innovation agile lifecycle

- Support Communications with brand guidance and website design best practice
- Support CRMs and regional heads of private banking in developing events, marketing campaigns and promotions
- Work with Head of Private Banking, Commercial management, Business Development and Communications to define and communicate a digital marketing strategy, opening up new channels of business for our target client segments
- Disrupt the traditional thinking within KH to deliver new products, services and business models that anticipate changing client needs

- Perform all duties in accordance with the principles outlined in the SGPBH Code of Conduct, as well as the policies and procedures relevant to your responsibilities, to ensure that you adhere to a culture that treats clients fairly and focuses on the long term sustainability of client relationships

• Educated to degree standard/relevant marketing qualifications
