Job Description
  • Contribute to the definition and development of Moody's Analytics overall IFRS 17 solution
  • Contribute to the technical development of RiskIntegrity™ IFRS 17 (methodologies, requirements etc) using a detailed knowledge of the IFRS 17 standard, lead some of the developments
  • Contribute to the practical development of the RiskIntegrity™ IFRS 17, including its application in real world reporting environments, in order to shape the product
  • Engage with clients, partners, domain experts
  • Interact with various internal and external stakeholders: software engineers, actuaries, accountants, customer engagement, research team, sales people…
  • Support the Moody's Analytics sales team - Participating in sales/presales work around IFRS17 when needed.
  • Support the Moody's Analytics customers - Participating in implementation projects to understand clients' needs
  • Contribute to marketing efforts when needed (materials, conferences, advertising, …)
  • Participate to Moody's Analytics conferences and industry events when needed
  • Establish and build expert knowledge of Moody's Analytics IFRS 17 software and analytics solutions


  • Very good understand of the insurance industry and financial reporting processes, especially around the actuarial, risk and finance functions
  • Ideally, experienced in considering methodology aspects of major reporting or capital standards (e.g. Solvency II, IFRS 4, ICA)
  • Significant experience (10 years plus) in the insurance industry business
  • Have a good understanding of IFRS 17 requirements, analysis and methodologies (
  • An ability to demonstrate business change skills is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to all levels of the organization (both internally and to clients)
  • Innovative approach to solving complex issues and problems
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels with clients/prospects and the internal organization
  • Work in cross-border/cross-disciplined teams at client sites and internally
  • Take ownership and responsibility Team player with the ability or potential to lead others
  • Ability to work to, and manage, deadlines
  • Strong work ethic, and professional and personable

  • Qualified Actuary
  • Main Degrees Discipline in Accounting - Mathematics - Finance - Actuarial Science - Computer Science or related subject
  • Professional accounting qualifications and/or experience related to IFRS would be a plus
