The Role
We are currently hiring for an Enterprise Architect in our London office to shape portfolio architecture, translate business priorities into technology roadmaps, and support strategic change across the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
Architecture strategy: Develop target-state architectures, technology direction and roadmaps that align business priorities with enterprise standards.
Portfolio alignment: Translate business objectives into practical technology initiatives and investment priorities across a defined portfolio.
Stakeholder partnership: Work with business leaders, product owners, architects, engineers and delivery teams to drive architectural clarity and solution alignment.
Governance and standards: Support architecture reviews, risk assessments and strategic planning, ensuring solutions align with security, technology and governance requirements.
Modernisation and innovation: Identify opportunities to improve the application landscape through cloud-native, API-first, event-driven and loosely coupled approaches.
What We're Looking For
Architecture experience: Typically 5-7 years in software engineering, systems analysis, solution architecture, technology consulting or a related technology discipline.
Enterprise architecture knowledge: A practical understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks such as TOGAF, with exposure to governance, strategy or capability planning.
Modern technical foundation: Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, API-first design, event-driven architecture, integration patterns and modern application design.
Business and stakeholder skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to connect business needs and technology decisions.
Education and development: A relevant degree or equivalent experience, with a clear commitment to continuous learning; architecture or cloud certifications are advantageous.
