A broad ECM role covering all areas of the ECM skillset including Pitch preparation, Execution support of live mandates, & Syndicate related activity. Based in our London Office focused on our Emerging Market & Frontier Market platform, principally on the International markets where Renaissance Capital operates.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Research on issuers, investors and market trends in order to identify business opportunities
  2. Preparing pitch presentations or developing mandates already won in readiness for marketing and execution
  3. Throughout the equity issuance process, providing information to the client, banking and distribution team on timing, marketing and pricing of the transaction (with guidance and supervision provided)
  4. Preparing and arranging briefings to sales teams on transactions
  5. Coordinating with other investment banks (syndicate members) on transactions
  6. Project management on transactions, helping coordinate internal team members, making sure all information is complete and passed on quickly
  7. Participating in decisions about transaction's pricing and allocation among investors

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Educated to Degree level in Economics or Quantitative discipline
  • Excellent quantitative and technical reasoning skills
  • Languages preferred , not essential
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 2- 5 years at a Tier 1 institution in ECM or similar IBD role
  • Emerging Markets experience preferred not essential
  • Deal management experience  across sector and geographies
