Purpose of Role:

The EMEA Finance Change Manager role is a central, critical and highly visible role supporting the EMEA Finance senior leadership team as they execute on Corporate Beacon transformation plans to move to global, functional teams. This role partners with local and global counterparts supporting and driving the success of the Corporate Beacon initiative within the region. The successful candidate will have an ability to provide strategic direction, change and project management, oversight and governance while building relationships and managing expectations of project teams, stakeholders and senior leadership. This role will have direct reports and requires prioritisation of work to deliver on local and group-wide projects and initiatives.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Continuous assessment of implementation risks, priorities, resource requirements, critical dependencies and assumptions behind implementation plans to ensure compliance with EMEA regulatory requirements
  • Partner with designated Global/Regional functional change management leads to track and report on the execution of EMEA Finance initiatives with a holistic regional view, includes understanding of process/infrastructure/technology transformation
  • Develop a reporting framework to provide relevant and periodic updates to EMEA Finance senior management on the status of regional transformation efforts and build mechanism for escalation and follow-up when necessary with stakeholders
  • Interaction with internal and external groups as necessary to define risk and control frameworks, including defining standardized SLAs, KPIs, governance and escalation mechanisms to ensure compliance with EMEA regulatory requirements
  • Successfully support the wider rollout of Corporate Beacon across the EMEA functions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Partner closely with all EMEA Corporate Beacon functional work-stream leads and be the EMEA Finance point of contact to provide updates on regional milestones achievements and committed deliverables
  • Understand organizational context and be able to identify and engage relevant stakeholders to remove barriers, gain consensus, and ensure a shared view of project status
  • As required, provide change management support to the overall programme and individual regional functional work streams
  • Be a constant advocate for a strong culture of attention to Risk Excellence and continuous self-assessment to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Lead a team to prioritise and deliver on local and group-wide projects and initiatives

Qualifications

Level of Education / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong, proven track record of related/industry experience in financial services or consulting in a project management role and interacting with a diverse stakeholder group
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change in complex, global businesses with measurable results
  • Ability to facilitate diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view to build consensus and agree go-forward direction on topics like project scope, issues resolution, resource balancing, and prioritization/work timing
  • Comfortable in ambiguous situations and able to bring clarity to complex challenges for both team members and stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis and project management methodologies is preferred
  • Excellent communication and writing skills required
