Finance Manager (Associate level) £65,000 + Bonus Central London

WSS Associates is currently working with a leading real estate investment company based in London’s West End, investing in real estate in prime global locations. They currently own commercial real estate in excess of £2bn.

They are looking for a dynamic Finance Manager to join the London team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take ownership of the reporting requirements for the UK Property Portfolio
  • Manage the quarterly accounts cycles as well as year-end processes including statutory accounting requirements
  • Oversight of the UK Accounting team’s output, responsibilities and development
  • Monthly Payroll processing and reporting
  • Accounting and management of the property management services
  • Provide relevant and proactive financial analysis on a monthly basis to support the senior management team in decision making and cost control
  • Lead UK liaison with internal and external parties on audit, accounting, taxation, asset management, property management or business related matters
  • Involved in internal control and process improvements
  • Monitoring bank position and recommendations for treasury management
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement the business
  • Management of general finance matters in the UK and special projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Preferably 3-5 years of commercial real estate experience and knowledge of the industry
  • 3 years audit experience in one of the big four audit firms
  • Excellent communication and experience of leading and managing a team
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects, changing priorities and a continually heavy work load
  • Ability to effectively communicate with high level executives
  • Very organised, detail orientated and able to prioritise many tasks
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls and financial reporting
  • Advanced MS Office skills
