A unique opportunity for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join a prominent Private Equity firm with committed capital of over €20 billion. The role itself will allow the individual to effectively take on a dual remit across the fund finance and Investor Relations teams. An ideal role for a recently qualified ACA accountant seeking to pursue a career beyond pure finance/fund accounting.

We are seekign to identify an Analyst to work in the Finance and Investor Relations team based in London.

Major responsibilities

  • Key member of the team with respect to financial reporting
  • Review of accounting information from Fund Administrator, particularly with respect to LP co-investments
  • Central role in collation of portfolio company financial information, liaising with each of the firm's  deal teams, and checking data integrity and consistency
  • Coordinating reporting to LP co-investors, including liaising with co-investor entity administrators and deal teams to ensure timely accurate reporting
  • Supporting the preparation of financial materials for investor reports, presentations and marketing materials, including quarterly valuation reports
  • Involvement in the portfolio monitoring system including system development and improvement
  • Responding to investors’ requests for information
  • Involvement in the portfolio company valuation process and interaction with the fund auditors in the Channel Islands
  • Assisting with audit support back-up, investment verification and title review process with fund administrators and the firm's Luxembourg or other holdco administrator
  • Liaising with the fund administrator in aspects of fund administration and accounting
  • Tracking and analysing fund and deal cash flows and producing key statistics
  • Assisting with capital calls and distributions to LP co-investors
