A high growth boutique hotel business is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager.

A high growth boutique hotel business is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager. The Financial Reporting Manager will take ownership for the budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis of the head office functions such as IT, Sales, Development and HR. This is a high profile role with direct exposure to 'C-Suite' executives such as the CEO, COO and CFO.

The business specialises in creating boutique hotel experiences across major cities in Europe and the US with design led rooms, vibrant bars and modern decor. They are private equity backed so they have the financial support and investment to remain robust through the Coronavirus pandemic. In addition most of their sites remain open, housing key workers and numerous people who have been caught 'in transit' while airports are closed down. Therefore there is still a steady revenue stream coming into the business, despite the significant reduction in global travel, so you would be a joining a company with a strong outlook despite the current crisis.

The Financial Reporting Manager will manage one person and take a lead role at a Group level. The key focus of the position is to deliver insightful analysis and commentary to the leadership team around the performance (versus budget) of the corporate functions. This role requires someone with both a strong technical and financial skillset as well as first rate communication skill. Excellent written and oral communication skills are vital in this role as this individual will partner with senior heads of department and deliver presentations to the senior leadership team to explain risks, challenges and variances.

The ideal candidate would be an ACA qualified accountant with 1-2 years post-qualified experience. Strong candidates making the first move from practice will be considered but there is a slight preference for someone with post-qualified experience in industry.
