We're partnering with a leading global investment firm to hire a Full Stack Developer for a highly visible Execution Technology team in London. Working across both front and back-end development, you'll build trading applications using React, TypeScript and Java, collaborating with end users to deliver technology that directly impacts trading performance/efficiency. The team is at the forefront of AI-enabled engineering, leveraging tools such as Claude Code and Codex to improve development.

What You'll Be Doing

Building and enhancing front-end trading and workflow applications using React, TypeScript and Java.
Developing and maintaining backend services supporting order routing, execution workflows and trading infrastructure.
Partnering closely with quantitative research, execution and trading teams to deliver new functionality and platform enhancements.
Helping scale a global execution platform across multiple regions and asset classes.
Integrating the platform with external counterparties, brokers and internal systems.
Leveraging modern AI development tools and agentic workflows to accelerate development, testing and code quality.
Contributing to a highly collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

4-6 years of software engineering experience.
Strong full stack development skills.
Commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals.
Experience building backend services in Java.
Experience with electronic trading, execution systems, market making, broker algorithms or financial technology.
Exposure to AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar.
Curiosity, strong problem-solving ability and a genuine passion for technology.
