A high-quality, global asset manager is seeking a leader to lead strategic planning and tactical execution of all institutional marketing activities, for the Global Institutional and Global Insurance business. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and lead the global marketing effort in this space. The firm manages a range of strategies across equity, fixed income, and multi-asset class, private equity, real estate and hedge fund, with a range of clients, including institutions, advisors and individual investors globally. This role will report to the Chief Marketing and Product Officer of the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Institutional Marketing Strategy and Execution 

    Engage with Institutional Client Coverage leadership team, define a strategy for the channel including global insurance and solutions businesses

    Develop and manage campaigns, roadshows, events, digital footprint and marketing launches of new funds and investment capabilities across sectors

    Create messaging, positioning and channel-specific marketing materials

  • Lead Generation and Digital Engagement 

    Expand global footprint using digital marketing outreach

    Drive customer segmentation and create “client journey” roadmap for digital engagement

    Strategically review, enhance and cascade post-campaign metrics and reporting, to optimise for future growth

  • Market Intelligence 

    Review competitor landscape to define requirements and uncover opportunities for growth

    Analyse and report on differing investor behavior and issues affecting the industry

 

Key Requirements

  • Strong academics
  • Strong demonstrated experience in marketing within the investment management industry and strong managerial capability
  • Proven capability on developing and executing on marketing strategy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to think quickly and adeptly about how to address problems as they arise, and apply learnings to prevent similar issues in the future
  • Commercial focus and understanding of how best to drive sales outcomes using digital channels
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and work with cross-functional teams, within and across regions
  • Professional, structured, and creative with a positive and inclusive mentality.
