Goldman Sachs' Global Investment Research division delivers value-added research to clients in the equity, fixed income, currency and commodities markets. Goldman Sachs develops global client-focused research in economics, portfolio strategy, derivatives and equity and credit securities. Our clients use these insights and investment ideas to develop their strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS JOB SUMMARY

Working as an analyst/associate in the Research Merchandising team, focused on curating, amplifying, and communicating Goldman Sachs European Investment Research.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Curating Goldman Sachs Investment Research for use by a wide range of stakeholders
  • Creating commercial, impactful product, showcasing the best of GS research, joining the dots between macro and micro themes.
  • Engaging with traders, equity salespeople and research analysts to maximise commercial impact of GS research
  • Providing daily market colour for external and internal client groups, leveraging Investment Research content.
  • Developing strategies to maximise the impact of GS thought leading research amongst various stakeholders
  • Engaging with internal and external clients on GS global research content

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
  • Strong academic background
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in a finance-related environment (preferably with focus on European equities).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (fluency in English language is vital)
  • Confidence and resilience
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Strong client service orientation
  • Candidate must be an enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to be proactive and prioritise
  • Must be intellectually curious and have the desire to develop financial markets knowledge
  • Ability to synthesis complex ideas in a concise, commercial written form
