We are currently supporting our UK based client in identifying a high calibre, Global Programme/ Projects professional to work within the Finance Change & Projects Team to support the bank's Global Business & Finance initiatives. The selected candidate would have at least 15 years experience managing complex, global programs within a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The selected individual would mainly be responsible for the global implementation of the new general ledger system
  • Contributing to or defining the strategic direction for all Global projects or programs
  • Establishing and managing project/program governance structures and delivery processes as well as driving enhancements at the department level
  • Managing Global project/program management deliverables and helping define standards and best practices throughout the project/program lifecycle
  • Project status reporting to stakeholders- close interaction with global counterparts
  • Another component of the role would be to identify, plan and drive Finance change initiatives
  • Process re-engineering and implementing tactical and strategic solutions

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ and / or Master's Degree with a minimum of 15+ years’ experience within Investment Banking - managing multiple, large complex projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator
  • Desire to provide top quality service to internal clients
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Additional Project Management certifications would be advantageous
