As part of the senior management team and reporting directly to the CEO duties will include:
The successful candidate must have held a Senior Compliance Role (and be eligible to hold SMF 16) gained in an insurance business under ICOBS (unless already have FPCOBS knowledge) as well as an ability to cultivate a positive compliance culture, foster executive level relationships and influence & direct your colleagues at all levels.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established firm now learning to operate under FCA regulations in a role that will be visible and influential across the business and give you early experience in this newly regulated field.
This role is offered as predominantly officed based at their Head Office in Hampshire (but will require 1 day pw in the London Office) as the business consider it important that as the first permanent Head of Compliance post regulation, this person is visible and approachable in both offices (although if desired 1 day pw WFH perfectly acceptable)
