This leading International Bank based in the Heart of the City is looking to recruit a Head of Finance for a permanent position.  Reporting into the CFO this is a highly autonomous and high profile position within the business.  Managing the finance function the main responsibilities will involve but not be limited to:


• Finance, IFRS, Regulatory and Tax policy formulation
• Responsibility for the production/review of the Annual report, Head office reporting and other external financial reporting on a timely manner, upholding highest quality standards
• Responsibility for managing the external and internal audit of all financial reporting, control systems and processes
• Responsibility for production/review of Monthly Management Information and other ad hoc management information
• Maintain the integrity of Financial information which includes monitoring the information in the core-banking system (T-24)
• Responsibility over Regulatory policy, systems and controls
• Review and timely submission of all regulatory returns and information
• Expert level knowledge of latest regulatory frameworks (e.g. CRR) especially in the areas of Capital, Liquidity and Large exposure
• Manage the relationship with the regulators, auditors and other stakeholders
• Preparation of ICAAP, RRP and assistance for ILAAP
• Coordinate the effort on Bank’s strategy formulation
• Continuous scanning of (at a high level) the business environment, target markets and client business    
• Monitor performance against the targets at entity, product, activity and department level


As the ideal candidate you will be a fully qualified accountant with extensive experience within a financial services and ideally banking background.  You will have experience of IFRS and also an excellent knowledge of the current regulatory landscape.
