You will liaise with data vendors about missing or late data, access issues (e.g. broken FTP feed) and incorrect data. You will examine and correct failures that arise from automated data feeds, for example erroneous prices. You will source and maintain new data. You will also help build new tools to manage the data.
This is a relatively junior role and we're looking for someone with 1 -2 years' experience from a similiar function in a hedge fund or a data vendor. To be considered for this position you must have a good working knowledge of financial products, in particular equities and futures. You must also have good communication skills as you will be liasing with the data vendors and your internal clients. You must have an analytical degree with a 2.1 or 1st.
