    Banking and Capital Financing IT require a business facing IT Project Manager (to own drive and be responsible for projects and streams within Banking).

    Banking is responsible for the overall management of relationships with major corporate and institutional clients across a broad range of geographies. This involves working closely with a variety of product specialists to deliver a comprehensive range of services such as treasury and capital markets, transaction banking, strategic advisory and investment management and the origination and on-going management of the credit and lending product.

    Capital Financing provides clients with a single integrated financing business, focused across a client's capital structure. Its expertise ranges from primary equity and debt capital markets; to specialized structured financing solutions such as asset-backed finance, leveraged and acquisition finance, and project and export finance; to transformative merger and acquisition advisory and execution; to relationship-based credit & lending which forms the foundation on which many of our client relationships are based.

    This is a hands on front office business facing project management role that will require working directly with Business Management, Product Risk, and Asset class Stakeholders, Origination, Syndicate, Compliance, Finance, Product Control, Risk and Vendors to define, manage expectations and delivery around multiple projects.

    In this role, you will:

    • Manage and Deliver software development IT projects ( agile methodology) within Capital Markets
    • Ensure that all required parties are in agreement with the solutions and requirements and all risks are addressed AND resolved within a set time frame.
    • Ensure that requirements are managed and clearly communicated to the stakeholders
    • Own detailed budgetary management within planning tools
    • Liaise and report directly to the GB& GCF IT Programme Manager to highlight risks and issues and to ensure delivery status is reported.

    • Drive working groups to support prioritisation of work and drive through requirements/design deliverables.
    • Facilitate and chair regular project meetings with IT and business
    • Project planning with clearly identifiable milestones and deliverables to effectively manage project resources using group standards tools
    • Structured approach leading BA team in requirements definition and design validation by business (Agile )
    • Rigorous management of off shore development and test team to develop high quality, resilient, tested code.
    • Build and maintain effective senior stakeholder relationships across Banking IT




Qualifications


To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Ability to engage with senior business stakeholders effectively and present at SteerCo meetings.
  • Alignment and actively contribute effectively to our Pune based Development team to deliver on time.
  • Excellent experience on global IT software delivery projects where rollout/adoption challenges have been overcome.
  • The role requires someone with excellent influencing skills to work with the various IT and business parties across main hubs and local sites.
  • Planning of multiple project deliverables, good understanding of planning project milestones, dependencies and resource allocation.
  • Management of financial budgets and production of both business and IT status reporting.
  • Management of offshore development teams. Coordination of multiple regional teams.


The base location for this role is Canary Wharf, London
