Infrastructure & Energy Fund - Asset Management (ACA with external audit experience required)

Location: Londres, Angleterre, Royaume-Uni

Salary: Excellent

A leading global infrastructure fund is looking to hire a recently qualified ACA to join their portfolio/asset management function.

This fund has in excess of £3.5bn of assets under management. The primary market focus is the UK and Europe although investments stretch from North America to Australia.

As a result of an ever growing asset portfolio they are looking to hire an ACA qualified individual who has a strong interest in developing their financial modelling skills although no actual modelling experience is required. Responsibilities of the role include:

  • The main focus of the role will be to update the financial models with the accounting and cash data provided by the finance team and ensure that all risks highlighted by the asset management are reflected in the model. These are complex project finance models and will enable the candidate to build strong financial modelling skills;
  • The candidate will also have the opportunity to get involved in variations, refinancings and other value-add workstreams;
  • Candidate would have a key role responding to investor queries and running sensitivities to effectively predict/simulate various macroeconomic changes and how they influence the performance of the assets;
  • Candidate could also help out with the valuation process for the Fund and update the overall INPP Fund Model;
  • In time, there may be the opportunity to review new investment opportunities but this role is very much on the portfolio/asset management side to start with.

This represents an excellent opportunity to join an entrepreneurial infrastructure and energy focused private equity fund where you will receive excellent training and development. Initially you will add immediate value managing the existing assets before potentially moving into a more investment focused position later in your career.
