Reporting to the Integration Solutions Competency Centre Manager, the Integration Lead Specialist will be responsible for leading the Integration activities required to successfully deliver messaging solutions for Kingfisher Group projects as well as be responsible for the Messaging Team across 2 offices, namely the UK - Southampton and France - Lille.

Responsibilities

We're looking for someone to be the S ME in the Messaging Development Team, ensuring escalated technical queries are answered in line with our architectural and coding standards. You will o wn and further develop governance standards for messaging delivery as well as l ine and task manage a talented team of Integration Specialists so that their work is prioritised, and their delivery efficient.

You'll also be responsible for championing Integration within the wider Kingfisher team, c ommunicate weekly updates to the Integration Manager, p lan the resources for Integration projects so that the delivery is timely and skill sets are appropriately deployed and w ork with the team to create an engaged and supportive environment for internal professional development.

Alongside this, you'll also m anage regular meetings with the distributed developer's community, use this as a vehicle to dispense knowledge and provide assistance, m easure the success of the team's delivery, set targets and demonstrate continuous improvements to the service, m anage the licencing of our Messaging applications, p rovide 3 rd line support for the production and preproduction estate.

You will own and execute the delivery of continuous improvements to the messaging platform so that service reliability and availability is fit for our business, m ake key decisions and help define the next step in the strategy for our messaging applications, i nfluence senior stakeholders to ensure the Integration strategy is understood and supported as well as d eputise for the Integration Solutions Manager when appropriate.

Qualifications

We're expecting you to be an e xperienced subject matter expert for IBM Integration Broker(IIB) v10, IBM MQ v7.5 or above. You must have p roven ability to manage a team of technical specialists, have e xperience of governing standards with distributed teams as well as b readth and depth knowledge of Integration architecture and principles, k nowledge of cloud native technologies, agile integration and e xcellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholder and technical specialists alike.
