The Opportunity

You'll play a leading role in delivering strategic international tax advice across a wide range of industries, supporting clients through acquisitions, restructurings, international expansion and changing global tax legislation. Working as part of a highly collaborative team, you'll coordinate cross-border projects, manage key client relationships and help shape innovative solutions to complex tax challenges. This is a predominantly advisory-focused role, offering the opportunity to work on market-leading projects with direct exposure to senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of international and complex corporate tax advisory projects for multinational businesses and UK-headquartered groups.
• Advise clients on cross-border structuring, refinancing, legal entity simplification, business reorganisations and operating model redesign.
• Support clients with international expansion, acquisitions, disposals and wider strategic transactions.
• Provide guidance on evolving international tax developments, including BEPS 2.0, Pillar Two and wider global tax reform.
• Assist clients with tax authority enquiries, tax governance and complex technical issues.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a strategic adviser on international tax matters.
• Collaborate with specialists across Corporate Tax, Deal Advisory, Transfer Pricing and overseas offices to deliver integrated solutions.
• Lead project delivery, manage budgets and oversee the work of junior team members.
• Contribute to business development through networking, proposals, client presentations and thought leadership.

About You

• ACA, CTA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong UK Corporate Tax experience, with significant exposure to advisory work.
• Experience advising multinational groups on international tax matters and cross-border transactions.
• A solid understanding of international tax principles and current global tax developments.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to deliver practical, client-focused advice.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
