Due to the continued expansion of this Global Investment Group ,they now require Associtaes for their Investment Banking Division Collaborate with existing investment team on cross-asset class deals, in private equity, growth capital, acquisition financing, syndicated credit, and real estate Deal screening and opportunity evaluation, commercial and market analysis, valuation and financial modelling and projections, writing memoranda for investment committee Deal execution, structuring, assisting with transaction documentation and coordinating with legal and DD advisors Liaising with and developing relationships with investors, banks, corporates, and advisors Working on strategy and value creation initiatives with management teams post-investment

Qualifications 

 3 to 5 years’ experience in M&A, corporate finance/transaction advisory, consulting, project finance/infrastructure, credit analysis, leveraged finance, or debt capital markets 
 Demonstrable work experience and corporate network within UK/Europe, ideally within technology and investment banking/financial services 
 Excellent financial modelling skills including cashflow and financial ratio analysis, equity/debt returns and credit analysis, and ability to build bespoke models and draw investment conclusions 
 Hands-on transaction experience and familiarity with different business models and with term sheets, investment agreements, and transaction structures for preferred equity, senior and mezzanine debt, securitisation, PIK, high yield bonds 
 Top academic and educational background (minimum 2.1 degree level) 
 Analytical with strong commercial judgement, intellectual curiosity and interest to work across asset classes and transaction types 
 Ability to communicate and coordinate with colleagues to ensure delivery within tight timelines 
 Strong work ethic with collaborative and flexible approach to teamwork
