Investment Director, New Equity, Leading International Real Estate Investor, UK

This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, well respected real estate-focused investment company in the UK as an Investment Director concentrated on new equity

Our client is a well respected real estate investment company with offices across the world. They are looking for an Investment Director to join their European Investment & Capital Markets Team, located in London.


  • Capital Raising: manage capital raising / marketing processes for identified product opportunities, including identifying target investors, producing marketing collateral, delivering presentations and sourcing investor feedback
  • Mandates: proactively identify and source new mandate opportunities with target equity partners
  • Equity Strategy: produce and keep updated an equity strategy that identifies capital trends, potential sources and key engagement strategies for potential new investors
  • Equity Investor Relations: maintain and grow the base of the capital relationships working with the Head of Investment and Capital Markets and other members of the Investment and Capital Markets team as required
  • Deal Execution: work in collaboration with other Investment and Capital Markets team members and the wider functional and business teams to see execution of opportunities through to completion
  • Financial and Market Research and Analysis: keep abreast of investment market activity, including investor trends, structures, pricing and transactional activity
  • Preparation of Investment and Strategy Papers: prepare papers in support of investment paper approvals or bespoke strategic analysis
  • Leadership: as a senior member of the team, work collaboratively across the business, and provide ongoing guidance to more junior team members


  • Experience in the real estate sector from within a corporate, investment bank / agent or advisory firm
  • Strong base of existing equity relationships across major UK and international pension, insurance and sovereign wealth funds
  • Strong written / powerpoint skills – ability to put together compelling proposition documents
  • Excellent numerical, analytical and problem solving skills including the presentation and communication of result, strategic / ‘Big Picture’ focus
