Our client, a leading debt manager with multi-billion dollars in AUM, are looking to add a dynamic Investor Relations individual to their team. This person will add value on both the investor relations and product management sides of their business. Our client invests across the private debt, credit and equity sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to grow within their career, with a clear progression path.

Responsibilities
 

  • Analysis of the funds’ performance, including comparison with marketing benchmarks, and communication of findings both orally and in written marketing materials
  • Preparation of marketing materials such as PPM’s, RFPs, fund overviews and presentations based on analysis performed and with the input of other teams and senior management
  • Assistance with the project management of the new fundraising processes including regular interaction with 3rd party service providers such as placement agents, lawyers and other advisors.
  • Acting as a point of contact for prospective investors in relation to due diligence queries, as well as building relationships with existing investors
  • Regular interaction with members of the investment teams to ensure effective sharing of information between teams
  • Responsible for monitoring prospect lists during a fundraise and reporting regularly to fund managers and senior management
  • Become a product specialist in specific fund or area of business, building an understanding of the strategy and the underlying market and communicating this to the rest of the team
  • Providing analysis in response to specific market and performance queries from investors in current funds if not handled by teams responsible for reporting fund performance on an on-going basis
     

Requirements
 

  • A graduate with number of years with relevant experience and a strong academic background
  • Strong analytical and numerical capabilities
  • Able to interact with senior management and clients
  • Commercially and financially literate, demonstrating strong numerical and oral communication skills; excellent level of attention to detail
  • A sound understanding of the financial capital markets
  • Ability to priorities and meet deadlines
  • Pro-active, confident and self- motivated; ability to problem solve
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel, Word and PowerPoint
