London - Senior Software Engineer
Have you ever wondered how buildings like The Shard or The Gherkin are built? Our clients have revolutionized construction around the world to make the construction of iconic buildings easier and more digitalized. Through the use of computer vision and AI, buildings like the upcoming 22 Bishopsgate - which will be the UK's second tallest building - are utilizing tech to aid the productivity of construction. The team are a proudly diverse community of creative minds, including architects, software engineers, designers and AI researchers dedicated not only to building the skyline of London, but the skyline of the future as well.

The Role

Working in London with their client base, you'll be tasked with understanding and translating their needs into new software. You'll also work with computer vision scientists to develop algorithms and software suitable for billion-pound construction projects.

As a full-stack engineer your role will be varied. You could be using either Python, configuring AWS-based stack or developing web apps using Vue.js or Node.js.

As one of the first engineers in the London office - you'll have the responsibility of defining the culture of future engineers whilst you nurture the rapidly growing team.

  • You're able to work independently and have a strong product mindset with the desire to build solutions that offer value to the user
  • You're excited by the prospect of taking computer vision from the lab to the real world in order to solve real-life problems
  • You're familiar with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
  • You have a strong engineering background or degree in computer science, maths, physics or software engineering

  • You've used Amazon AWS stacks
  • You're able to write code in either Python or Javascript (familiarity with modern front-end frameworks)
  • You have experience in start-up cultures/environments

  • Competitive salary and equity package
  • Based in central London with flexible hours and health insurance - extra flexible if you have young children (or are planning to have children)
  • Bi-annual company-wide Hack Week - take time off work to develop any projects you've been working on in your spare time, then show them off to your colleagues
  • Grow with the company - take leadership courses so you can eventually manage your own team. Want to run your own workshop? They'll set up the courses. Interested in AI and computer vision? Not only will you be working along side some of the best in the business but you could also be sponsored for a nanodegree through Udacity
