Director, Head of UK and European Real Estate Investor & Funds practice
Global Investment Manager requires a Managing Director for the firm's Real Estate Private Equity division based in London. The MD will initially drive a new real estate acquisition investment strategy in London before rolling this out across Europe and globally.
Key responsibilities
- The MD will manage all aspects of the deal lifecycle, including the sourcing and vetting of real estate investment opportunities
- Managing the due diligence process undertaking detailed financial modelling and analysis
- Monitoring investments post-acquisition
- Applying the firm's investment strategy to the residential and commercial real estate sectors in London and in time globally
- Support the management of Limited Partner and banking relationships
- Support the growth of the real estate private equity team in London and globally
- Support investor relations and capital raising efforts
- Participate as a key, active member of the team in making recommendations to the investment committee
Qualification
- Min 8-15 years’ experience with a top tier real estate private equity firm or REIT
- Proven track record of sourcing and executing real estate deals in the UK with a focus on London
- Most likely to be currently managing a team and driving an investment strategy at MD or Director level
- Strong financial underwriting and modelling skills
- Comfort and familiarity with statistical analyses is a plus
- MBA preferred but not required
- International experience preferred
